Do I need to make an appointment to try on wedding dresses?

  • Yes. We strongly recommend appointments so that we can provide each of our brides with our undivided attention. Working with a dedicated stylist allows you to be educated on all of your options, as well as all of the unique services that our boutique has to offer.

How do I make an appointment?

  • You can book an appointment right here on our website! If you're ready to book now, please click here:

Emily Hart Bridal-Book With Us

Can I complete my entire look in one appointment?

  • Absolutely! Our stylists would love to assist you in finding all of your accessories from your jewelry to your veil!

How long will my appointment be?

  • We schedule bridal appointments on the hour for two hours. For most brides this is the perfect amount of time to work with your stylist and narrow down your favorites before saying YES to the one!

May I take pictures of the gowns while I try them on?

  • Of course! Pictures and videos are encouraged! We also love to be tagged in any shopping or “I said yes” photos!

What should I bring to my appointment?

  • Bring any accessories or shoes you may already have picked out for your big day along with any nude underwear/shapewear you want to wear.  While most of our dresses will have enough built-in structure already, it truly comes down to what you are most comfortable with.

Who should I bring to my appointment?

  • We strongly recommend bringing guests whose opinion you value the most, if there’s anyone you know you won’t be able to make this decision without; make sure they attend! We often see that brides with smaller parties have the easiest and overall best experience in finding their wedding dress. We recommend bringing the true ‘decision makers’ in your life. These are the family and friends who understand your personal style and the overall look/feel of your wedding, so that they can assist you in selecting a gown that compliments both. Bigger parties can forget about what the bride likes and give opinions that are more of their own personal taste. At the end of the day, it’s about you and what makes you feel like a bride!

What if my dress needs alterations?

  • Alterations are a very important step in the wedding dress process and nearly all brides need them. We offer this service in-house. Upon gown arrival a member of our team will reach out to you to schedule these appointments.

If I live out of state will I need to travel back and forth for alterations?

  • The decision is yours! While our seamstresses are more than happy to work with you, we understand that traveling back and forth can be difficult. When your wedding gown arrives you can decide if you would like to take it home to do alterations closer to you or keep it in-house with our staff.

Why do I need a credit card to book appointments?

  • Appointments require a card on file when scheduling to ensure that valuable appointment times are not booked with no intention of attending. A non-refundable $75 fee will be applied to your card ONLY in the event that you cancel less than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment, or if you are a no-show.

How do I find out if a dress I love on your website/social media is available in store for my appointment?

  • You are welcome to send us an email or call our store during regular business hours to check for any gown’s availability!

Is there a limit of how many guests I can bring with me?

  • Bridal appointments comfortably seat up to four guests not including the bride. If you plan on bringing more than four guests, please call to accommodate seating for your appointment!

What do I need to know about pricing/budget before shopping? Here’s a few tips to avoid getting caught off guard by the price of your dream dress:

  • Before your appointment, inquire about price ranges for your favorite designers.

  • If someone else is paying for your wedding dress, have an honest discussion and set realistic expectations for everyone involved.

  • Plan to set aside about 10% of your entire wedding budget for your perfect dress

What dress sizes are available to be tried on in store?

  • We carry various sizes in store ranging from a size 4 to 26!

When should I start shopping for a wedding dress?

  • The best time to start looking is 9-12 months out from your wedding to be able to allow enough time for production and alterations. We highly recommend 12+ if possible to avoid rush fees & possible production delays. If your wedding day is closer than this, we can still help - but let’s get you in here ASAP.

How often do you get new dresses?

  • We receive new dresses all the time as we are always updating our stock or hosting a trunk show!

What are the price ranges for dresses in store?

How do you determine which size I will purchase?

  • Our fit specialists will take all the measurements needed to get the best fit when ordering your gown. For your most true size, ask about our custom measurements options.

Can I customize my wedding dress? Example: Add sleeves? Change the neckline?

  • We have a variety of dresses and designers that will have custom options, keep in mind this will add some cost as well as time on to the arrival of your gown.

HELP! I’m getting married in less than 4 months. Is it too late to get a dress?

How do I pay for my dress?

  • After we pop champagne and celebrate you saying yes to your dress, your stylist will go over your invoice and sales agreement with you. You will be able to discuss payment at that time. We accept cash or card!

Will I pay sales tax on my dress?

  • Yes we are required to charge sales tax on our gowns. Please keep this in mind when planning out your wedding dress budget.

Do you offer gown steaming?

  • Yes! We will gladly store your gown and steam it out for your big day as a part of our Wedding Day Pristine Press & Steam Package. This service offers peace-of-mind and convenience for the bride. Ask your stylist for details!

How should I store the gown after my wedding before it is preserved/cleaned?

  • We recommend keeping your bridal gown in your garment bag in a cool, dry room until you are able to bring it in for preservation.

How much do you charge for wedding gown cleaning/preservation?

  • Package costs start at $300 with options to upgrade for additional fees. For more details, follow this link: Wedding Gown Preservation
